3 years ago I married my best friend and it was easily one of the best days of my life! We had a beautiful Hindu/Pujabi/Sindhi intimate wedding (for Indian standards, haha). I thought I would finally share the wedding highlights video that I found on my laptop with you all!

Wedding – Keeping A Wedding Planner

Planning an upcoming wedding can be a tricky situation, requiring a lot of time, effort and energy. We all know that planning any kind of event involves tedious details. If you are going to be married soon, you should try to keep all of your plans and notes together in an easy-to-find place while you make decisions about caterers, florists, entertainers, photographers and other service providers. Keeping track of so many different pieces of information can be really difficult when you are attempting to plan this upcoming special occasion. As such, one of the best things that you can do is create a planner or organizer where you can store all of this information in an organized manner.

A wedding planner can take many shapes or forms depending on your own individual needs. You may choose to plan using a binder with tabs and inserts for different categories of planning, or a giant pegboard with space for each category of planning that allows you to tack up images and notes as you go. It is important that you choose a medium that is actually going to work well with your planning style in order for you to get the most out of its use. If the planner only makes you feel more lost or disorganized, then it simply is not working for you.

Your wedding planner should have different sections for different purposes. Create a section for the dress, the cake, the caterers, the flowers, the entertainment, the location, the photographer, the bridesmaid dresses and all other facets of the special event. This way, as new ideas or pieces of inspiration come to light, you can tuck them away in the appropriate section, always guaranteeing that you have that information at your fingertips if and when you actually need to actually access it.

Once you have chosen the right type of wedding planner that you need, the best thing that you can do is simply to make sure that you are consistently using it as you plan your special event. Keep track of absolutely everything so that you do not lose any ideas or inspiration along the way. Jot down notes and keep track of images and reminders as you plan for your marriage day and you are sure to find it much simpler over time to plan out this special occasion without letting the feelings of stress or being overwhelmed completely overcome you during this extensive planning process.
